"One More Light", de 2017, es el álbum más controvertido y, trágicamente, el último con el vocalista Chester Bennington, lo que lo convierte en una obra de un profundo significado en la discografía de Linkin Park. En este trabajo, la banda abandona por completo el rock para crear su primer álbum de pop puro, una colección de canciones con influencias del pop electrónico y el R&B contemporáneo.
