Sobre el álbum
Con "Solace", su segundo álbum de 1991, Sarah McLachlan dio un gran salto adelante, refinando su sonido y consolidando su identidad artística. Este trabajo se aleja de las influencias más new wave de su debut para abrazar un sonido más orgánico, centrado en el piano, la guitarra acústica y, sobre todo, su extraordinaria voz.
El álbum, cuyo título significa "consuelo", explora las complejidades de las relaciones humanas con una honestidad y una vulnerabilidad que conectaron profundamente con una audiencia creciente.
