"Just Be Free" es un álbum demo grabado por Christina Aguilera cuando la artista estadounidense apenas contaba con quince años de edad y acababa de terminar su participación el el show infantil "The New Mickey Mouse Club". Aunque su fecha de publicación es de 2001, las grabaciones para el álbum se realizaron en 1994 y 1995. El álbum contó con la producción de Bobby Allecca y Michael Brown y apareció bajo el sello Warlock Records.

Musicalmente, el álbum está compuesto por canciones bailables, baladas y algún tema en español.

Las grabaciones fueron rescatadas seis años después de su registro por los productores Bobby Allecca y Michael Brown, quienes las publicaron en formato de álbum sin permiso de la cantante ni de su representante.

Cuando Christina Aguilera descubrió lo que sucedía, entabló una batalla legal para evitar su publicación, ya que consideraba que ni la calidad de la grabación ni su bisoñez de entonces se correspondieran con su imagen actual de éxito.

Finalmente, el caso se resolvió fuera de los tribunales. El éxito conseguido por la grabación fue muy moderado y apenas se vendieron 128.000 copias del álbum.
