"Ghost stories" es un nuevo álbum de la banda Coldplay con el que pretenden hacer una regresión anterior a su álbum "Mylo Xyloto". Si bien "Mylo Xyloto" fue un trabajo muy experimental y con un fuerte componente pop, "Ghost stories" pretende ser un álbum más acústico.
El trabajo de grabación y producción tuvo lugar en Londres, entre 2012 y 2014 y antes de la publicación del álbum, la banda ya había dado a conocer sus dos primeros videoclips, "Midnight" y "Magic".
