Creatures of the Night es un álbum de Kiss, publicado en 1982 por Casablanca. El disco incluye 9 canciones, entre ellas «Creatures Of The Night», «Saint And Sinner», «Keep Me Comin'» y «Rock And Roll Hell».
Lanzado en 1982, Creatures of the Night es el décimo álbum de estudio de Kiss y el disco que representa su resurrección artística. Tras el desastroso fracaso de "Music from 'The Elder'", la banda se vio obligada a volver a sus raíces y a grabar el álbum más pesado y agresivo de su carrera. "Creatures of the Night" es una creación notable del heavy metal de los 80, con un sonido de batería atronador, riffs de guitarra pesados y una producción potente. Aunque Ace Frehley aparece en la portada, ya había abandonado la banda, y la mayoría de las guitarras fueron grabadas por un elenco de músicos de sesión, incluyendo al que sería su reemplazo, Vinnie Vincent. Gestación del álbum
Después de "The Elder", la carrera de Kiss estaba en su punto más bajo. La banda necesitaba desesperadamente recuperar a sus fans y su credibilidad. La decisión fue clara: volver al hard rock sin concesiones. Ace Frehley, completamente desilusionado, se negó a participar en la grabación, aunque su imagen se utilizó en la portada por razones contractuales. Para las guitarras, la banda recurrió a varios músicos, incluyendo a Robben Ford, Steve Farris y, de forma más prominente, al virtuoso Vinnie Vincent, quien coescribió varias canciones y se uniría a la banda para la gira.
La producción de Michael James Jackson fue clave para lograr el sonido masivo del álbum, especialmente el sonido de batería atronador de Eric Carr, que se convirtió en una de las señas de identidad del disco.

El sonido de "Creatures of the Night" es puro heavy metal. Es, con diferencia, el álbum más pesado y oscuro de la discografía de Kiss hasta ese momento.
