Sobre el álbum
El disco Miracle, de 2004, es un proyecto conceptual y profundamente personal de Celine Dion, una colaboración con la fotógrafa Anne Geddes. El álbum es una celebración de la maternidad y de la infancia, con canciones que funcionan como una banda sonora para las icónicas imágenes de bebés de Geddes. De hecho, el proyecto combina un libro de fotografías con el disco de música.
El tono del álbum es increíblemente tierno, íntimo y emotivo. La mayoría de las canciones son baladas y canciones de cuna, con letras que exploran el amor incondicional de una madre por su hijo. La producción, por su parte, es suave y delicada, con arreglos de cuerda y piano que crean una atmósfera de serenidad.
El repertorio incluye versiones de clásicos como "What a Wonderful World" de Louis Armstrong o "Beautiful Boy" de John Lennon, que en la voz de Celine Dion adquieren un nuevo y conmovedor significado. La canción que da título al disco, "Miracle", es una hermosa composición original.
'Miracle' es una de las obras más personales y singulares de su discografía. Es un testimonio de una de las etapas más importantes de su vida y un regalo para todas las madres del mundo.
